I haven’t understood why, so far, there was no engineering team that set their minds to produce a cone beam CT machine that has multiple fields of view (FOV). Carestream Dental (AKA Koda) has finally released a machine that allows you to choose a large FOV or several different smaller ones. This should help tremendously with dentists who are wanting to lower radiation dosage to patients. Now you can concentrate on much smaller areas while still having the ability to provide patients with the best treatment possible.
