Yesterday I made the move to the city where my residency is. A very tiring move and I’m glad I’m done with it. Next time I am simply going to hire movers, it will actually be cheaper to do it this way. The cost of renting a truck is baffling to me. Now I still have to drive back to pick up my actual car. That being said, soon I will be involved in oral and maxillofacial radiology. Head deep in the residency itself I am excited about getting things started. I also need to find a part time job to pay my bills. This should be interesting.
In other news, I am updating the categories on this site and adding a “During Residency” section so that I can talk about what it is to actually be active in an oral and maxillofacial radiology residency. This is the real reason I created this site. There is absolutely no information out there on what the lifestyle of a head and neck radiologist is or what the programs are like. When I find more information regarding salaries I will discuss that as well. I have an idea, but it’s all talk, no hard numbers to back anything up.
