Ultrasound for Ultraimaging

Looks like Ultrasound is starting to make a run for it when it comes to intraoral imaging.  For me the true competition is going to be between this modality and Swift MRI technique.  I’m still more interested in MRI over ultrasound.  Ultrasound doesn’t really do too well with detail, at least not what I’ve seen so far.  I believe that for oral and maxillofacial radiology purposes (or any head and neck radiology), MRI that images both hard and soft tissue will be the most beneficial.  Same for any type of practitioner really.
